Your Submission must (i) be your own original work, (ii) be in English or French, (iii) cannot be previously published or submitted in connection with any other contest, (iv) be in keeping with the SCA’s image and (v) not be offensive or inappropriate, as determined by SCA in its sole discretion, nor can it defame or invade publicity rights or privacy of any person, living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon any person’s personal or property rights or any other third party rights. SCA reserves the right to disqualify any Submission that it determines, in its sole discretion, is offensive or inappropriate, not in keeping with SCA’s image or that is otherwise not in compliance with these Rules. By submitting a Fearless Story, you acknowledge and agree that SCA may obtain many Submissions in connection with this initiative or produce materials similar to your Fearless Story (together, “Material”), and that such Material may be similar or identical in theme, idea, format or other respects to other Submissions made in connection with this website initiative or submitted for other reasons or other materials developed by the SCA. You waive any and all claims you may have had, may have, and/or may have in the future, that any other Submission and/or other works accepted, reviewed and/or used by SCA may be similar to your Submission, or that any compensation is due to you in connection with such Submission or other works used by SCA.
By submitting a Fearless Story, the submitter hereby grants permission for the Fearless Story to be posted on www.tena.us or other SCA websites. Each submitter agrees that SCA is not responsible for any unauthorized use of Fearless Stories by third parties. SCA does not guarantee the posting of any and may remove a posted Fearless Story at any time.
By submitting a Fearless Story, each submitter agrees SCA shall own the material submitted (including the copyright thereto and all rights embodied therein) and that it and its designees may exploit, edit, publish, use, adapt, exploit, modify, copy, disseminate or dispose of any material submitted as a Fearless Story, the concepts embodied therein or any elements thereof, online, in print, film, television, or in any other media for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation or notification to the entrant of any kind, except as prohibited by law.
