Maple Syrup Sesame Salmon

Maple Syrup Sesame Salmon


  • 4 Skinless salmon fillets, about 125 g/4 oz each, fresh or thawed from frozen and drained
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp Freshly grated ginger
  • 2 Cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Toasted sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp Grated lime zest


  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, maple syrup, ginger, garlic and salt. Pour into a resealable bag. Place the four salmon fillets in the bag. Refrigerate and marinate at least 30 minutes, turning bag once or twice.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  3. Remove fillets from marinade and place in baking dish.
  4. Bake at 375°F for 15 – 20 minutes or until salmon flakes easily.
  5. Arrange on serving plate. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and lime zest.
