The Incontinence Interviews
They say with age comes wisdom - and change - but there are some things we just don't know about, let alone talk about. Why is it when women age we don't talk about the changes happening to our bodies? Menopause happens to every woman, yet it remains to be a "taboo" topic that many of us don’t feel comfortable talking about with our friends, family, and even our doctors.
At TENA, we believe that when women refrain from talking about their bodies and health - especially what happens to their bodies during pivotal life stages like menopause - no one wins. That's why we've kicked off a new interview series to have honest conversations with women about the changes that happen to our bodies as we age.
Tune in to listen to their candid conversation around menopause, incontinence, self-care, and everything in between. We hope that by sharing these honest moments, we can shed the stigma around aging, and in turn inspire other women to do the same.
In the inaugural episode of the Incontinence Interviews, Dr. Suzanne Gilberg-Lenz, board-certified OB-GYN, partner at the Women’s Care of Beverly Hills Medical Group, and attending staff member at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, sits down with actress and producer Garcelle Beauvais to get real about women’s health.
