Excellent product
It's a excellent protection for mens that have a light leaking, it allows you to do all you dayli activi with absolutely confidence that you will never have bad odors or get your underwear or trousers wet for the light bladder leaking. I'm so happy that at last I can purchase this excellent product here in the USA and have it delivered in only 3 days to my home address.

Tena Level 1 Guards
The Tena Level 1 Guards are a quality product which perform extremely well and perform as advertised. I occasionally use the guards when I know I'll be outside working or involved with a activity which keeps me away from the bathroom during the day. One pad all day protects me from occasional leaks caused due to my Prostatectomy.

There is a need for adhesive across the top to keep it from rolling in from the sides. The adhesive strip from top to bottom is good but does not keep it from rolling in from the sides.

Good Product
I would rate the product higher if the coverage area was the same as the next level up. The pad is thinner which is nice but also smaller which can prevent what it is actually suppose to do. Which the size didn't change with the level because I usually don't need something that high.

The outer lining when wet starts to stretch out of shape and the inner lining starts to break up and clump, this needs improvement to be a better product.

this is the only product available that is comfortable. however, it is slow in absorption & therefore leaks. I use about 12 guards a day. Therefore very expensive. If this guard were to incorporate the absorbent lining that is in disposable baby diapers, it wold be a great product because it is anatomically designed well. The older product held more fluid & absorbed faster, but poor design.

Excellent product!
I am dealing with after effects from prostate surgery and other incontinence products were too bulky or just plain uncomfortable. The Tena pads have allowed me to resume almost all activities with comfort and confidence.

I Use These For "Backside" Incontinence
I use these a little differently, so it's hard to judge. I had rectal cancer & the damage to my bum muscle from the radiation treatments left me w/ "Backside" Incontinence. I use these pads, but insert them backwards (so the larger side is under my bum). It helps w/ any leakage & small accidents.

Level 1 male Guard Right for Me

Nice but not what I expected
I used to find Tena light shields at my CVS. They were smaller and rated one of five "drops" by Tena. I liked them for use especially with smaller or lighter underwear.
I don't have a package in front of me but these are a two or three out of seven or eight, a new rating scale. They are much heavier than the old light Tenas, a bit more than the competition and I like them for long days. But I doubt I'll order them special when other brands are available at my drugstore.
I would still like to find the ones I used to be able to get. Where are they, Tena?

Tena make the best men's guards on the market by a very wide margin - and I have tried them all.
These level 1 were all I needed after a radical prostatectomy. They are perfectly contoured, ALL other brands are too narrow to be effective - it is a wonder to me that others cannot see how well designed Tena is and have copied them.
Now - after the cancer came back and I had 2 months of radiation, I need level 3 - but still use level 1 over-night and they give excellent protection.
LOVE this company's products.

Really good product
Very good product that I certainly recommend. The only negative that I have is that Tena runs out of the product that I use too often for too long a time. This causes me to use other products while the Tena product is out of supply.

Great protection for men
I have purchased the Tena Men Light Protective Guards - Level 1 for my husband and he thinks they are the best pads that he has ever tried. They are contoured to a man's body and are not bulky like other pads. Great light protection for men!

Just right for me
I've been using another brand Male Guards since I had prostate surgery several years ago. They have always worked well but I haven't like the coverage they give sometime. If my equipment moves a little the pads would not cover any leakage. They had to be placed just right.
I tried a package of Tena Level 2 guards and really like the size and coverage they gave but were a little heavy for my needs. I found the level 1 guards on the Tena web site but did not order because I thought they were a little expensive plus I had to pay shipping. However, while looking at the web site recently they had a BOGO deal that I took advantage of. Bottom line is I really like the Level 1 guards and will be ordering them in the future. I'll order a higher quantity in order to get free shipping. Tena Male guards are not available in retail outlets in my area so I will continue to order from the web site.

Great Products but One Suggestion
I wish it came in black instead of white. I love the Shields for several reasons but also because of the dark color. Also, I want the Shield to stay the same size and color but make it thicker for more absorbency.

The best I've found so far for my needs
No odor escapes like with the best known brand. It seems a bit wide but scrunches in from the sides to be contained within underwear. In fact, I wish the adhesive strip were a little wider. The price is higher than the major brand, but this one works better for me. I wish it were available in stores in my area, but shipping is fast.

Adhesive doesn't hold, too bulky
I've been using the very light shields (#0) and thought I'd try the light (#1). What a mistake. And I bought 144 of them. They're too bulky and, worse yet, the adhesive doesn't hold the shields to my underwear so that I find the adhesive sticking to my skin in delicate areas.
You need a redesign!

I am allergic to another brand, but not these. They work as described. CAUTION: I learned this inserting one before daylight in a dark tent; do NOT install them backwards, because they really do stick! ; )
