SCA Names Svein Ryan Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Personal Care in North America

PHILADELPHIA, March 30, 2014 – SCA, a global hygiene and forest products company and maker of TENA® personal care products, announced today the appointment of Svein Ryan to the position of vice president, Marketing and Business Development, for SCA’s Personal Care business in North America. SCA is global leader in incontinence care.

Ryan, who assumed this role effective January 2014, is responsible for strategy development, go-to-market development and execution, CRM implementation and management and marketing activities for US and Canada. He also represents SCA’s North American Personal Care team in global decision making forums and projects for product and marketing. Prior to this role he most recently served as vice president, Sales and Marketing - retail Europe for SCA’s Incontinence Europe business unit based in Mannheim, Germany.

Ryan reports to Michael Widera, vice president, Sales & Marketing, SCA Personal Care - North America.

Ryan has worked at SCA for 25 years in its personal care business, managing sales teams across the globe in Norway, Sweden, Romania, Greece, Austria and Germany.
