The Incontinence Interviews Episode 1: Introduction

What if we could talk about incontinence the same way we talked about fashion and travel? There’s no need to be embarrassed when talking about what’s naturally occurring in our bodies. In the inaugural episode of the Incontinence Interviews, Dr. Suzanne Gilberg-Lenz and Garcelle Beauvais-- host of The Real and star of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills franchise-- break the silence on menopause and incontinence.

Garcelle Beauvais: Hi, everyone. I'm Garcelle Beauvais, and I'm here today with Dr. Suzanne Gilberg-Lenz, a nationally renowned OB GYN women's health advocate who is based right here in Beverly Hills. Thank you so much for joining me, Dr. Suzanne.

Dr Suzanne Gilberg-Lenz : Oh, thank you for having me, Garcelle.

Garcelle: There is so much we can learn by being open about our experiences. Do you feel that women are embarrassed to talk about the taboo subjects like incontinence?

Dr Suzanne: It's a body thing. People are embarrassed about talking about bodily functions, and the only way to solve that part is to talk about it like we are and to bring it up ourselves.

Garcelle: Well, I think it's fantastic that TENA offers a range of products to help women feel and look amazing. I mean, there's no one size fits all solution to most women's health issues, and it's great to have options for every occasion. Can you give us the low down on any new products for the summer?

Dr Suzanne: TENA recently launched their Stylish Incontinence Underwear, which I'm very excited about, and it's designed to look like regular underwear. The Stylish has triple protection against bladder leaks, urine odor, and wetness, and with women for significant bladder leakage, they're really perfect. They're available exclusively at Walmart, and they come in a sleek black or white printed design. They're perfect for any outfit.
