    An Update on COVID-19

    As a hygiene and health company, the safety of our products and the health of the people who use them is our utmost concern. We’d like to address some topics related to this to reassure you and provide assistance.

    Product Safety:

    Essity has strict product safety and hygiene controls in place for the manufacturing of our products. Direct human contact with our products during the production process is minimal. 

    The WHO has stated that the risk of contamination of commercial goods is low: 

    The likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, traveled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low. 

    Product Availability:

    Essity continues to manufacture our products without interruption. We have taken proactive steps in our facilities to safeguard the health of our employees by limiting access to the plant from outside suppliers, segregating and distancing employees, increasing disinfection of common areas and providing masks where needed. We have nurses on site to address employee concerns.

    How we can support you!

    We are adhering to the protocols of the healthcare facilities we serve, which in most cases does not allow us to personally enter your facilities at this time. We are, however, working full-time and are available to support your needs. We can deliver virtual training through Skype, we can speak by phone and communicate via email. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us at any time!
